THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY,
HERE IS A BIT ABOUT ME
"I want my paintings to be more than visual compositions; as my instinct and emotions guide my brush, I hope to evoke a sense of freedom—boundless and spontaneous."
Kristin Evju Nordentoft was born and raised in Norway's oldest city, Tønsberg, with the name 'Evju' tracing back to 1460. She bought her first sewing machine at the age of 15 and has since cultivated a diverse skill set, training as a tailor, decorator, interior architect, and artist. Kristin’s formal 2 year higher education in visual arts laid the foundation for her current career as a full-time painter, based in her studio at Islands Brygge, Copenhagen.
Specializing in abstract art, Kristin’s work is driven by a desire to evoke emotions. Each piece she creates is a testament to her ambition and her deep engagement with the expressive potential of abstract forms.
MAYBE BORING?
BUT GOOD TO KNOW? YES.
