About Kristin
Kristin Evju Nordentoft was born and raised in Norway's oldest city, Tønsberg, with the name 'Evju' tracing back to 1460. She bought her first sewing machine at the age of 15 and has since cultivated a diverse skill set, training as a tailor, decorator, interior architect, and artist. Kristin’s formal 2 year higher education in visual arts laid the foundation for her current career as a full-time painter, based in her studio at Islands Brygge, Copenhagen.
Specializing in abstract art, Kristin’s work is driven by a desire to evoke emotions. Each piece she creates is a testament to her ambition and her deep engagement with the expressive potential of abstract forms. Kristin's paintings are not just visual compositions; they are carefully crafted experiences meant to touch the viewer and provoke introspection.
Every artwork is crafted by hand, staying true to the artist’s original vision. Because they are handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike, adding a special charm to each creation.
