Our first solo exhibition in Bredgade, Copenhagen - from pretty quiet to pretty exposed

This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions as we wrapped up my mom’s very first solo exhibition in Bredgade, Copenhagen! Having her art displayed in such a beautiful space was already a dream come true, but what happened next made it even more special.

At first, things were a little quiet in the studio. So, we decided to share a simple TikTok video about it—not expecting much, just a small glimpse behind the scenes. To our surprise, the response was incredible! So many kind and supportive people engaged with the post, sending encouragement and even asking about the paintings. And then, something amazing happened—we sold three paintings!

Seeing people connect with my mom’s art, not just in person but also through social media, has been such an eye-opening experience. It’s proof that sometimes, all it takes is putting yourself out there, sharing your journey, and letting the right people find you.

We’re beyond grateful for everyone who has supported us, whether by visiting the exhibition, commenting online, or simply cheering us on. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next!
